What is SBUHacks?

SBUHacks is a place where students are challenged to further what they know by doing projects on what they are passionate about. Spending time on projects outside the classroom is the best way to not only learn what you love, but find new interests. In a universe of infinite possibilities, you have 24 hours to innovate and show us what you got!

FAQ

How do teams work?

We encourage people to work in teams of up to four. If you can't find a team beforehand, worry not - there will be time to form teams after registration.

What do I bring?

All you'll need is a valid ID, and your laptop & charger. We also recommend bringing some warm clothing and a blanket, it gets a bit chilly at night! Lastly, everyone sitting around you will thank you for bringing a toothbrush.

Will there be food?

Yes.

How much does it cost to attend?

Attendance is 100% free, and includes food, drinks, and more free swag than you can count.

Who can come?

Any undergraduate or graduate student still in school is eligible to enter.

What are the guidelines?

Don't bring any firearms, knives, weapons, drugs, or alcohol. Please read the Major League Hacking Code of Conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event. We are expecting cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.
